SNOOKER ace Jimmy White will be in Bolton tonight as a local club celebrates the return of celebrity exhibition matches.
At least six members of the audience at Bolton Snooker Club will get the chance to play a frame against the star if their tickets are drawn in a raffle.
Jimmywill also play corporate guests before taking to a table of a different kind to indulge his love of poker and put nine local players in a whirlwind.
They have each won a series of qualifying competitons to take their place at the table where the prize fund will be £4,000.
Jimmy will also sign autographs and have his photograph taken with fans.
Martin Vickers, who has run the club on the Pilot Industrial Estate, Manchester Road, Burnden, since May, said: "I used to come here for these celebrity events 20 odd years ago and we had the likes of John Parrott, Ray Reardon and David Taylor.
"But that stopped and there were no other snooker clubs in Bolton doing it so we thought we would bring it back.
"We have also introduced poker which is massive at the moment and have poker nights on Sundays and Wednesdays.
"Jimmy White coming here is a coup for us and great for snooker fans in Bolton."
Tickets priced £20 can be bought in advance but will also be available on the doors, which open from 6pm-7pm for a 7.15pm start.
Around 60 tickets have already been sold for the event, with 200 available.
