On 9th November 2024, Roger passed away peacefully at The Royal Bolton Hospital aged 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Christina, a devoted dad to Paul, Anthony and Andrea and a dear father-in-law. A very special grandad to Daniel, Charlotte, Christian, Matthew, Abigail, Adam, Christie, Amelia and the late Andrew.The funeral service and committal will take place on Monday 2nd December 2024 in Overdale Crematorium West Chapel at 12noon. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Roger can be made to The British Heart Foundation. All enquiries to Shaw’s Funeralcare 01204 526218.

A staunch Trade Unionist and socialist and a lovely man whose humour and commitment we will miss greatly at Bolton Unite 0121 branch. Thoughts are with Rogers family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
