ATHERTON James Rodney of Little Lever It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James, affectionately known as Jimmy, following a short illness on 28th June 2024, aged 82. Beloved husband of the late Christine, devoted father to Sharon, and cherished grandad to Thomas and Daniel. Jimmy was a loving brother to Rita and brother-in-law to Tony, and the late Tom (Christine's brother). He will be dearly missed by his niece Julie, nephew Anthony, and great nieces and nephews Joseph, Charlotte, Phoebe, Emma, and James. A good friend to many, Jimmy's presence in our lives will be deeply missed. The service will be at Overdale Crematorium West Chapel, BL1 5BU on Friday July 12th at 10am.
