ESSIEN Michael (Mick) It is with great sadness that the family of Michael (Mick) Essien shares the news of his death on 5th June 2024. Mick was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sorely missed. A funeral service will be held on Monday 24th June 2024 at 11am at St Thomas' Church, 164-178 Eskrick Street, Bolton, BL1 3JB, followed by a service at Overdale Crematorium (West Chapel), Overdale Drive, Bolton, BL1 5BU at 12pm. After the service, friends and family are welcome to attend a gathering at The Roundhouse, Kenton Close, Bolton, BL1 3TZ. In lieu of flowers, Mick would want donations made to Cancer Research UK.
