HEATON Gordon On 6th January, 2024 in hospital after a courageous battle with a short illness and of Westhoughton, Gordon Heaton aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Georgina, loving dad of Anita, father-in-law to Steve, sister to Mary and a dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. Funeral service at Cornerstone Church, Wigan Road, Westhoughton on Tuesday January 30th at 12.00 noon followed by committal Howe Bridge Crematorium at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations will benefit Action for Children (National Children's Home) a charity he supported throughout his life. Please make cheques payable to 'Action for Children'.
