PROFFITT Philip Passed away peacefully on 30th December 2023 at home in Helmshore. Previously from Bolton, owning the long-established family furniture business, Proffitts of Bolton. Beloved husband of Elaine, much-loved dad of Shona, Helen, Martin, Sarah and Matthew. Loving grandad to eleven grandchildren. Dearest brother of the late Geoff. Loved and respected friend to many. The funeral service will be held at East Lancashire Crematorium on 2nd February 2024. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired for Rossendale Hospice or Prostate Cancer UK.
