WOOD Judith On 5th November 2023, peacefully at her home in Deane, Bolton at the age of 65. Sister of Carol and the late Janet, Aunty to Lee, Emma and Stuart. She will also be missed by her dog Marley. Judith was cremated in private on 25th November. Her ashes will be buried at Rossendale Pet Cemetery.Tributes

Oh heck Judith, you poor soul RIP
Not seen you around in ages too, bless your soul, I never knew.
The other day (May 2024) I drove past the old GUS building in Manchester and remember meeting up with you there as you came out from work. You had been chosen by GUS to model their clothes in the catalogue. Gosh that was a long time ago!
Big bright blue eyes, thick black locks and a big smile always from you. You always dressed so smart and cheery in light pastal colours. You were down to Earth and helped anybody anytime, just a great friend. You were a sweet gentle person with a heart of gold.
Saw your name on here. I never knew Judith, if I did I'd have been over to help you, God bless you. I was a few months late but I always was late for everything remember!
We were best friends in the 80s for over a decade but then work took me to London and overseas, so we kind of lost contact.
You bought me a 3ft tall vase multi-shade of browns, with tall grasses for my new flat in the 80s ... To this day I have still got that and cherrish it as it reminds me of my little friend.
I think you know I thought you always made the best 'Ham, Cheese and Onion Omlettes ever back then! Funny what we remember from years ago. lol
Do you remember when you turned up unannounced 'spur of the moment decision' at my student accommodation at 2am in Huddersfield, lost shouting 'Tony where are you' as you didn't know which room was mine lol .. It was great to see you, what a nice surprise that was. You know when you feel comfortable with somebody, well that was you.
You're still at flat in Deane, Bolton, I remember when you moved in to that flat, you have been there so long, you were very settled quickly living there and happy.
I remember your stories about sister Carol who as I remember was in Brussels back then.
I can't believe you have left us, what a shock when I saw your name.
I will never forget you and the many nice times we had together.
Don't forget now to pass on some of that friendly magnetic personality you have onto some of those up there in Heaven with you!

I wish I gotten to know you sooner, but the short time I knew you, you were a lovely person and I'm so grateful I could help you. To me helping you didn't seem enough, but to you and you said my help meant so much and I know you were so greatful. RIP
