JACKSON Derek Derek Jackson passed away on Friday 28th July at the Bolton Hospice. Much loved husband of Sally, a loving father of David, Michael and Philip, a proud grandfather and great grandfather. Service and committal on Friday 18th August at Overdale crematorium at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu for Bolton Hospice or Cancer Research UK. In memory of Derek.
I had no idea of your passing and by strange coincidence, Kate and I were having lunch at Fanny's on Friday and I noticed a couple of people from the Opera '74 days.
Derek was a fabulous chap and an amazing Bass-Baritone.
If any family or friends see this, please pass on my sincere condolences to Sally and family. I just wish I had known so I could have paid my heartfelt respects.
