MEAKIN Freda Freda Meakin, long time resident of Dent, died peacefully in Kendal on 2nd July. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan, mother of Cathy and the late Lorna, devoted granny to Mark and Paul and great grandmother to Eliza, Sylvie and Lucas. The funeral service will take place at 2.30 on Wednesday 19th July at St. Andrew's Church, Dent. Private Cremation on 20th July. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Medicins Sans Frontieres.
