YATES Edith Went to sleep peacefully, aged 98 years on Wednesday 3rd May 2023. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack Yates, doting mother to John, Jennifer, Stephen, Katherine, Sarah, and Ruth and ever caring and loved grandma and great-grandma. She leaves behind everlasting happy memories. Edith leaves a big hole in the lives of those lucky enough to know and love her and she will be sorely missed. Funeral Service will take place at Horwich Parish Church on Thursday 25th May at 1pm, prior to interment at Ridgmont Cemetery. A Celebration of Edith's Life will continue after the funeral at Ridgmont House, Horwich. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be sent for RNLI.
