ABBEY Mary Philomena (Phil) (nee Birchall) Passed away peacefully on 4th March 2023, in Farnworth Care Home, Fortified by the Rites of the Holy Mother Church, aged 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank, dearly loved mother of Margaret, Tony, Theresa, Patricia, Jo, Mark, and David also the late Michael and Gerrard. Much loved mother-in-law, grandmother to 21 and great-grandmother to 30. Phil will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Requiem Mass will be offered in St. Ethelbert's R.C.Church on Friday 24th March at 10.00am, prior to Committal in Overdale East Chapel at 11.15am.
