RYDING Mavis The funeral service of Mavis Ryding will take place at 9.30, on 13th February at Trinity Methodist church, Market St, Farnworth followed by committal at Overdale crematorium at 11.00. Any donations if desired to Trinity Methodist Church.Tributes

Mavis was my PE teacher at St Anne’s school Harwood. (1959-1964)
My mother died 1963 when I was 15yrs old. and Mavis showed me a lot of kindness and took me under her wing. I have ever never forgotten that.
I bumped into her a number of times over the years and it was heart warming that she always remembered me.
Just want to acknowledge this lovey lady and send my sympathy to her family.
