McCARTHY Elena (nee Barone) Sadly passed away on 25th December, 2022 after suffering a short illness, Re-united with her beloved family that she so missed, a caring grandma to Elizabeth and Martin and a loving aunt to Linda and Alan, Rose, Anna and Kim, like a mother to Silvestro. Also a very dear friend to many in the Italian and Ukrainian community, a very kind and generous lady to those who knew her, she will be very sadly missed. Requiem Mass will be offered in St William of York R/C Church, Lever Edge Lane on Monday February 6th, 2023 at 1pm followed by interment in Heaton Cemetery at 2:30pm. Floral tributes are welcome.
