ASPINALL James On the 11th November 2022 James (Jim) aged 84 years passed away peacefully at Knightswood care home. Jim formerly of Deane and Westhoughton, was the beloved Dad to James, Lesley, Andrew and Lisa, much loved Grandad to Michael, Alexander, Daniel, Melissa, Carly, Joseph and Emily. Jim was also a very proud Great Grandad to Grace, Harry, Joey, Theo, Lydia and Bobby. He was a treasured and lifelong friend to Sandra, much loved brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law uncle and friend to so many. Special thanks to all the staff at the Thurstons and Knightswood care home for their care of Jim. The funeral service and committal will take place on Friday 2nd December in Howebridge crematorium at 12 noon followed by light refreshments at Westhoughton sports and social club, 2 Park Road, BL5 3DE where all those who knew Jim will be welcome to join us to share your memories and celebrate his life. The cortege will leave from Lisa's house at 11.30am. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu will be gratefully received for Dementia UK.
