KEIGHLEY Dennis Passed away peacefully on 29th October 2022 aged 98 years at The Clough Residential Home. Beloved husband of the late Irene Keighley Nee Gregory. Dearly loved father of Dennis, George and Susan, father-in-law of Geoffrey and Pamela, grandpa of Eve, Anna, Helen and Alex and a dear uncle and great uncle. Requiem Mass will be offered in Sacred Heart R.C.Church, Westhoughton on Friday 18th November at 10.00am, prior to Committal at Overdale East Chapel at 11.15am. Dennis junior, Dennis's son, was my best friend at Thornleigh in the sixties. I knew his mum and dad (the latter being the Dennis in this piece) from my frequent visits to their home in Deane. I lost touch with Dennis over half a century ago. Just to let you know that I've never forgotten you, I'm still around ( in Cornwall these last 37 years!) and that I still remember George, your mum and your dad!

I looked after Dennis's alarm for many years. He was a lovely gentleman, always full of stories about his past. My condolences to all his family. R.I.P. Dennis
