LIPTROT Brian Passed away in the Royal Bolton Hospital with his wife and son by his side on Monday 29th August 2022 aged 84 years. Dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Brian was a science teacher at Canon Slade and railway enthusiast. Service and committal will take place on Tuesday 20th September 2022 in Overdale Crematorium West Chapel at 1.00pm. All enquires to Bolton Coop Funeralcare, Crompton Way. Tel 01204 307151.

I was so sad to read this today. Mr. Liptrot was our class teacher for two years at Canon slade school. He was so lovely to us. He always made us smile and saw the best in each and every one of us. On the 29th of October eight of us are meeting up from class 5H for the first time in 35 years and I was looking online to see if I could find him to see if we could maybe see him , how sad that he has passed away. We will remember him well. RIP. Love Janine Myerscough
