EDNA BROOKS (nee KNOWLES) Josephine and Kevin would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the many mass cards and messages of sympathy received following their recent sad loss of a wonderful sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt and great aunt. Grateful thanks to everyone who attended the funeral service, many who travelled great distances, and to those who kindly sent donations for the British Legion. Special thanks to Reverend Canon M Cooke VG of St. John's for the beautiful service and all the staff of Crompton Way Health Centre and the Royal Bolton Hospital A&E staff for their care and kindness to Edna. Thanks also to Sam from Glen Home for attending to Josie and to Michael for his endless kindness and organisation. Finally, a sincere thanks to Philip of Howarth's Funeral Service for the respect and dignity shown to the family during this sad time
