- Inspector Lisa Clarke
Welcome to your Bolton North neighbourhood pages.
I am Inspector Lisa Clarke and have ownership of neighbourhood policing for Queens Park and Central, Halliwell, Smithills, Astley Bridge, Tonge with The Haulgh, Breightmet, Bromley Cross and Bradshaw.
I joined Greater Manchester Police 24 years ago. I started on the Wigan Division and since then have worked in a variety of uniform and detective roles in Salford, Bolton and at the force training school where I was promoted to the rank of Inspector. As I missed being at the heart of policing I seized the opportunity to move back to Bolton in October 2022 to have responsibility for Bolton North Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Having grown up in the area and lived here for the last 25 years, I can honestly say it is my perfect role as I have a genuine passion for making Bolton North a safe and desirable place to live and work. Myself and my team of officers understand the current concerns and will work hard with our partners to resolve the issues that affect our communities. It is as important to us as it is to you.
On these pages you will find priorities in our area that we continue to work on. We will update these priorities with the action we have taken to remedy them.
We can’t do this without you, so we have launched an alert system called Bee in the loop which will enable us to contact you directly about these priorities. It will also enable you to speak to officers on the ground, where you live, so you can tell us what matters most to you.
You can sign up at www.beeintheloop.co.uk
If this isn’t for you, you can also see our scheduled meetings. You will get to speak to an officer directly.

- Sergeant Zach Keneally
Welcome to your Bolton North neighbourhood pages.
I am Sergeant Zach Keneally and have management of neighbourhood policing for Astley Bridge, Bradshaw, Breightmet, Bromley Cross and Crompton.
I joined Greater Manchester Police as a police cadet in 2012, having always wanted to be a police officer. In 2014, I started as an apprentice Operational Support Officer and a Special Constable working within the neighbourhood team at Astley Bridge Police Station. From here, I applied to join as a Police Constable and started this role in 2016.
For the first couple of years, I worked as an initial response officer attending 999 calls. In 2018, I started a new role as the neighbourhood police officer for Breightmet. I remained in this role for a couple of years, before being promoted to a Sergeant and moving back to the initial response team.
I have always enjoyed neighbourhood policing and working to resolve the issues that affect our communities, so in June 2023, I joined the neighbourhood team at Astley Bridge Police Station as a Sergeant.
Having worked in Bolton for all of my career, I have a genuine passion for making Bolton North a desirable and safe place to live and work. My team and I will work hard with our partners to resolve the issues that the community tell affect them the most. We take pride in our work and if an issue is affecting our community, it is affecting us.
