A YOUNG woman from Bradshaw is celebrating completing her RAF training with flying colours.
Carla Scowcroft, aged 22, has graduated from The Recruit Training Squadron at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire after nine weeks of basic training.
Miss Scowcroft won the acclaim of her officers, picking up The Mayor of Aylesbury Cup for showing the most determination in all aspects of training.
She will now train to become an intelligence analyst.
She said: “I really enjoyed the training, especially the ground defence and physical training elements.
“I am thrilled to have received the award.”
Squadron leader Nick Trown said: “Carla has done well. She has developed both as a person and an airman, and has proven to be one of the best trainees this year.”
