Thieves stole thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes during a burglary in Leigh.
At about 1.15am on November 30, two men broke into Heaton Off Licence on Kirkhall Lane.
The pair stole a large amount of cigarettes and some vodka before escaping down Glebe Street.
The men had their faces covered and were wearing white clothing.
Police Constable Chris Smith, from the Leigh Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "The amount of cigarettes stolen would suggest the robbers will be trying to off-load them to members of the public.
"If you have been offered cigarettes at a discounted price please come forward. I must stress that buying stolen goods is a serious offence and if the offer seems too good to be true it probably is.
"The description we have is of two men dressed all in white. I am sure if you spotted them near the shop around the time of the burglary you would have noticed them. If that is the case please call police."
