A teenager arrested over a fatal crash on the M62 in Warrington has been released on police bail.
The 19-year-old woman was held following a three-vehicle pile up in which a 50-year-old man from York died.
A lorry crashed through the central reservation during the accident, which led to the closure of both east and westbound carriageways between junction 11 at Birchwood and 12 near Eccles Interchange and caused traffic chaos all over the region.
A spokeswoman for Cheshire Police said the woman, driving a green Peugeot car, has been bailed until next March.
The victim, who has not been named, was driving a grey Audi.
The driver of the lorry suffered serious injuries but his condition is not considered life threatening.
