Cricket stars from Old Trafford are helping to celebrate Lancashire Day in a Manchester city centre pub tonight.
The charity cricket celebration are at The Paramount pub, Oxford Street, with Lancashire stars past and present.
As official sponsors of LCCC, northern brewer Daniel Thwaites is supporting the four-day event, which is at 7pm by Red Rose Captain Glen Chapple, Kyle Hogg and fans favourite Ian Austin.
There will be a Lancashire Day charity raffle with a signed LCCC shirt up for grabs and gift packs from Daniel Thwaites, as well as the chance for fans to enjoy a drink with their heroes.
Over the four day Lancashire Day celebration at The Paramount beer lovers will be able to sample 10 local ales, including Thwaites’ own Lancaster Bomber – the beer that takes pride of place emblazoned on chest of the LCCC shirt.
Brands marketing manager for Daniel Thwaites, Lee Williams, said: “As one of Lancashire’s oldest and most well-known businesses we take an active role championing the county, and Lancashire Day provides the perfect opportunity to do so.
“We thought what better way to support the celebrations this year than by teaming up with some of Lancashire’s best-loved sporting stars and our partners at JD Wetherspoon.
"Both beer lovers and sports fans alike are invited to join us for what promises to be a fun-packed night to celebrate the proud Lancastrian heritage.”
