The pictures of the three men who were jailed for a “revenge attack” after man was stabbed to death in Bolton have been released.

Anthony George fatally stabbed Tyrone Williamson on Battenburg Road on December 11, 2021.

George was under the influence of drugs at the time and carried out the killing after a dispute inside a home.

George, of no fixed address, was thrown out after taking Mr Williamson’s phone.

However later that night George, 42, came under attack by people angered by the murder.

Jason Wilding, 29, Adam Disa Green, 22 and Brendan Carney, 27, found him on Lincoln Road, Bolton.

They left him with life threatening injuries including stab wounds which appear to have been inflicted by the knife used to murder Mr Williamson.

The three attackers can now be pictured for the first time.

Footage played to the court showed the group punching, stabbing, kicking and punching George.

He was left in hospital for a significant period after the attack.

George was later jailed for life after being convicted of murder.

He told the court while he was on trial that he had no memory of what he had done due to his intoxication under the influence of drugs.

Wilding, of Withington Road, Whalley Range, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent.

Carney, of Cloister Street, Bolton, was found guilty of the same offence at a trial where three other men were acquitted.

Disa Green, of no fixed address, also pleaded guilty to wounding with intent.

At Manchester Crown Court last week, Judge Timothy Smith jailed the trio.

He said: “Feelings were clearly running very high, there was shock, upset and anger at what had happened.”

He added: “Yes it may have been born of anger and upset, but a revenge attack is just that, an attack which is intended to punish someone who has done wrong.”

He sentenced Wilding to a total of 11 years and two months in prison, Dissa Green received a sentence of five years and 10 months and Carney was jailed for eight years and eight months.
