PARISHIONERS at St Anne's Church in Turton, and St James', Edgworth, are appealing to people to make and freeze food for the needy.
Charity group Winterwatch, based in Spa Road, Bolton, provides shelter and medical help for those in need as well as homemade food.
The two churches will be handing out meals throughout February.
Homemade frozen items can be taken to St Anne's Church between noon and 12.30pm on February 22.
