POLICE in Lancashire will be cracking down on anti-social behaviour over the festive period.
The county force, which covers Rivington, Edgworth and Turton, has launched Operation Shepherd to reduce disorder and alcohol-related crime.
Chief Inspector Dave Robinson said: "Throughout December and over the Christmas period alcohol-related incidents and crimes traditionally increase.
"Those who cause violence can expect to be caught and face the consequences."
