THE case of a banned driver accused of perverting the course of justice has been sent to Crown Court.
Richard Parkinson, aged 40, of Cooke Street, Farnworth, appeared before Bolton magistrates yesterday, accused of driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance and perverting the course of justice by providing false details to police.
The case was committed to Bolton Crown Court on September 27. Parkin-son was granted bail.
