I ALWAYS have mixed feelings when England take on Scotland in the Six Nations Calcutta Cup and last Saturday was no different.
With my late grandparents being Scottish and a full-back from my home county of Cornwall – Jack Nowell, pictured – in the England squad, I was again divided on who I wanted to win it this year.
My loyalty was so split that I ended up watching the game as a neutral and not enjoying it at all.
Sport is about taking sides and believing that your support is driving your team to victory. You can't just sit on the fence.
