I like the idea of the slip road to St Peters Way, but on several occasions after turning left from Folds Road and driving into the access lane to turn right, both of the traffic signals, one on each side of the road were totally obscured.
The reasons for this are simple; in the lefthand lane was a tall vehicle blocking my sight of the nearside traffic signal, and at the same time several signs on a lampost directly in front of the traffic signal on my offside blocked my view of the other traffic signal. It was only until I was almost ready to turn onto the slip road to St Peters Way that the offfside signals came into view.
Fortunately I drive slowly so I am always able act on the traffic signal.
Surely the planners of this have not driven down there to see that signs blocking traffic signals could be placed in a different position and maybe avoid a potential accident.
