I HAVE an idea for a reality TV programme. Why don’t we start a reality town to drive an improvement in the economy?
The team from Dragons’ Den could choose successful applicants to open up some of the stores that are currently closed in the town centre — a bit similar in style to that Raymond Blanc programme where he allows couples to open up restaurants for short periods of time — and they could try to make a go of it, even if only for a small period of time.
Everything else is reality — which actually means anything but — so why not cheer our town centre up by having a reality shop or two?
