HAVING conducted Eagley Band at the superb Bolton Food Festival on Sunday afternoon, may I thank the many hundreds of listeners to our performance on the Le Mans Crescent stage who gave every piece that we played a rapturous ovation, making the band and myself feel so very welcome.

The massive audience particularly enthused about our major items such as Sinatra, Genesis, Toto and Wicked, all of which we are to perform indoors in the Mayor's Charity Gala Concert in the fantastic acoustics of the Victoria Hall on Saturday, October 14, at 7.30pm.

We hope everyone at the Food Festival will come and support Eagley and Smithills once again that evening and take the opportunity to enjoy a great night with us in the town centre.

Thank you again to everyone who watched, applauded, cheered and stood up in huge numbers throughout our concert on Sunday as literally every available seat was taken and the crescent completely packed.
