I WAS both surprised and disgusted by the publication of the letter from C Cooper (March 23) in which he launched a snide attack on Mr Albert Stones in regard to the Moss Bank Park model railway.
I have known Mr Stones for about 20 years, initially as a business client who made even an unsuccessful sales pitch a rewarding experience, and latterly as a generous fellow cardiac patient who brings light into the lives of all who come into contact with him.
I feel privileged to know Mr Stones and very lucky not to know C Cooper!
