DOES anyone know anything about the white-bottomed wild deer which are on the Bolton municipal golf course?
There are possibly up to nine of them, including the new fawns, who all appear to live in lightly wooded scrub and wetlands alongside the fairways.
It would be interesting to know how far they range, or do they just hide on the golf course, as they are almost invisible until they turn away from you and the white flash is often all you see.
It is hard to believe that an industrial town can have wild animals this size living in such close proximity to humans.
