MAY I clarify two points in your story headed, "Blooming lovely bulbs spring up" (March 8).
First, Wingates' Tenants and Residents' Association only oversaw the planting of bulbs around the Wingates area.
The Howe Bridge Crematorium and Cemetery Scheme was undertaken by residents from Howe Bridge.
The £1,000 grant we received came from Bolton at Home, who are responsible for all the neighbourhood panels' funding.
Seventeen thousand bulbs have been planted around Wingates - we would never been able to do this without help.
We would like to thank Westhoughton Rotary Club, the Young Offenders' Scheme, Manchester Probation Service and Ground Works North West, who came along to assist.
