With reference to your article on the cleanliness of the town's streets (March 1), I must agree with Mr Tony Pearson.

On three separate occasions I have rang the Town Hall regarding fly tipping in Forresterhill Avenue of black bin bags and broken double glazing units and each time they say they will look into the matter. In all fairness to the Town Hall they have, but they only remove the bags, they do not move the contents of the offending bags which has spilled out The occupants of Arlington Street have had pest control officers to sort the problem of rats - which is no surprise, as someone emptied the contents of a wheelie bin in the centre of the football pitch adjacent to Arlington Street.

This was also reported but, of course nothing was done about it. With that and the dog fouling it is a disgrace.

I have asked for no dog fouling and litter signs to be erected. I wait with anticipation.
