CONGRATULATIONS to all of the schools and student in Bolton West for their fantastic GCSE and A level results.
Taking exams is a very stressful time for all students but there was added pressure this year for those taking GCSEs because of the constant changes to the exams by the Government.
This meant both they and the schools have had to adjust and work tirelessly in order to gain these fantastic results. I am so proud of everyone who took their exams and worked really hard to prepare for them and proud of their fantastic teachers who work so hard to support them.
Qualifications like GCSEs and A levels are very important in guiding young people down the right path to pursue a future career.
However, I want to remind them that no matter what their results are, with determination and hard work they can still be whatever they want to be.
I would like to wish students every success in the future and hope they go on to find success in an apprenticeship, training or go on to further and higher education.
