No blame for council
IT is outrageous that the owners of Martin Bott Bookdealers blames Bolton Council for their demise in Horwich (The Bolton News, August 12).
I cannot comment on the business rates, but parking is free throughout Horwich, so why comment on the situation in Bolton town centre?
The more likely reason for their situation is their constant random closing — a card in the window saying “back next week” hardly encourages customers.
