CAN I make a plea for readers of this newspaper to be open-minded about what we see and hear from our mainstream media in this nation, about what has been happening in Gaza.

There are other reputable media sources reporting from Gaza which are not being given the same amount of publicity.

They have reported very different situations to what we are being fed.

I will finish by asking a question that people need to think about.

If the blockade of Gaza by Israel is having such a disastrous effect, how is Hamas managing to get the thousands of rockets and explosives and other materials that they are using to attack Israel with?
