I CALLED into the Albert Halls booking office to ask where I could obtain tickets for the Food and Drink Festival.
I had already looked on the website and noticed that the company supplying the tickets wanted a lot of personal information, together with full details of my debit card including security numbers. I was reluctant to give this information by computer, hence my trip down to town.
The girl at the booking office gave me a telephone number which I rang and I was informed that the only way I could get tickets was by going through the website.
I will thus have to forego my visit to the Food and Drink Festival.
What do people do who are not yet on the internet? Why can't there be somewhere where one can call to pay for and pick up tickets?
