TO the people of Bolton, I can not believe that a town with its history and size, and wishing to be a city, is prepared to put up with this council.
These austerity cuts, by a Government which doesn’t care about the working class, and a council that is prepared to carry out its policies and make people more vulnerable that they already are.
First they close Remploy so attack the disabled. They close libraries and cut back on services but want you to pay more council tax.
Market traders are having their rent raised while tourists come miles to see this excellent value for money market.
And now the Government wants to play games with the benefits system as they feel everyone is a scrounger, when this is not the case.
And now we have the Bedroom Tax where, because your children have grown up and moved out, you will pay the price. Come on people of Bolton, stand up and fight back. Tell this Government enough is enough.
