OVER Saturday into Mother’s Day, I was admitted into A&E at the Royal Bolton Hospital with chest pains.
It was an eye opener to say the least, but I have no further comment to make about this.
Over many years I have needed the expertise off all levels of hospital staff and many departments and never once found them wanting, always being treated with cheerfulness and civility. Consultants, doctors and others do their very best for their patients often under pressure and constraint.
Admittedly there are concerns at present which are being addressed, and we shall know the outcome in due course.
Meantime Boltonians and others who use our hospital services, stop “knocking” RBH, get behind it because you never know when you might need it.
I am now back at home but offer my grateful thanks to A&E and CDU for their care and attention over the time I was with them.
Mrs W Sutcliffe Bolton
