ON Sunday morning I took to St Peter’s Way as we headed to Manchester Airport to drop off relatives returning to America.
Merely days before, myself and our relatives were commenting on the absolute atrocity of St Peter’s Way.
On our last drive, it was full of litter and looked like a rubbish dump the whole length along and I felt so embarrassed by the condition of it. As always, those central reservations looked so unsightly and disgusting!
Well, to my astonishment, my journey to the airport was one enjoyable, proud journey. I was amazed.
Whatever happened in between my previous journey was somewhat a miracle. It no longer looks a rubbish dump and that mess in the central reservation has been wiped away completely.
A big well done to all involved.
