Frank

Gender – Male

Age – 5 years

Breed – Pug

With his love for greeting both humans and fellow canines, Frank's charming personality shines through.

However, it is important to note that Frank would thrive best as the sole dog in a household, as he tends to engage in scent marking around other dogs.

While he could potentially live with children aged 11 years or older but cats and birds are not suitable companions for him.

Frank is a happy traveller and enjoys car rides, making him an ideal companion for exciting new adventures.

Prospective owners must be open to having Frank sleep in their bedroom, as it is his preferred resting spot.

You can find his full profile here.

Fudge and Blue

Gender – Fudge: Female, Blue: Male

Age – Fudge: 13 years, Blue: 9 years

Breed – Fudge: Shih Tzu, Blue: Chihuahua

Fudge and Blue are looking for a home where they can live together and snuggle up on comfy beds or find a cozy spot on the sofa.

This adorable duo would prefer a home with a secure garden as they occasionally have accidents indoors.

They will need a multi-carer household so there are multiple individuals available to walk them and provide them with ample affection.

While Fudge is content with his leisurely walks, Blue has shown reactivity towards other dogs while out on walks and will need adopters who are willing to work on this behaviour.

Why dogs shouldn't eat chocolate

As a result, Blue and Fudge need to be the only dogs in the home and they can’t live with cats.

They can be left alone for short periods but they would prefer a home with fewer hours of being left alone, at least initially.

Blue and Fudge are compatible with children over the age of 14.

You can see Fudge’s full profile and Blue’s full profile via the Dogs Trust website.

Simba

Gender – Male

Age – 6 years

Breed – German Shepherd

Simba needs a patient home and needs extra support than most dogs.

The centre will be able to support any adopters that choose to take Simba home.

Simba requires a separate room or area with a crate where he can relax and seek shelter.

While he can live with another dog, it must be neutered if female and they'll need to be able to tolerate his clingy nature.

Families with children in the home must have kids aged 15 and older who can refrain from being loud or boisterous around him.

Simba's compatibility with cats or other small animals remains unknown.

Due to his fear of loud noises, walks should avoid busy roads, and be gradually built up to avoid overwhelming him.

An ideal home for Simba would also have a large, private and secure garden.

Ava

The Bolton News: Ava needs a new homeAva needs a new home (Image: Dogs Trust)

Gender – Female

Age – 5 years

Breed – Caucasian Shepherd

You can view Ava’s full profile here.

Ava needs a private, secure garden with sturdy fencing and no passage for people to walk past it as she would bark.

While Ava gets along well with other dogs when out and about, she struggles to share her living space with them, making it necessary for her to be the only dog in her new home.

If potential adopters have a confident cat that is used to large dogs, Ava could coexist with them.

Additionally, she could live with small furry animals if they are kept separate.

Ava also appreciates the opportunity to get acquainted with new people before fully interacting with them so her new home should allow for her to have temporary separation from visitors.

She is best suited for a family with children aged 15 and over.
