CHUNG-YONG Lee has been stretchered off during Wanderers' pre-season friendly against Newport County.
The South Korea international was left in a heap after a reckless challenge by County midfielder Tom Miller in the 25th minute of the game, with Wanderers 2-1 up.
He required nearly 10 minutes of attention from physios and paramedics, including oxygen at the scene, before being stretchered off the field.
Miller was given a yellow card by referee Tim Wood and was substituted immediately.
Chung-Yong was taken to Royal Gwent Hospital, around 10 minutes away from the stadium, by a St John Ambulance.
Wanderers led 3-1` at the break, and manager Owen Coyle was visibly upset as he left the field.
