VLADIMIR Weiss will become Owen Coyle’s first signing of the transfer window this weekend.
The 20-year-old Slovakia international winger has agreed to join Wanderers on loan from Manchester City, and is expected to be followed through the doors by US international Stuart Holden, who has been on trial at the Reebok for the last fortnight.
Skilful wide man Weiss has played four games at Eastlands this season, scoring in the Blues’ 3-0 victory over Arsenal in the Carling Cup.
He arrives looking for football ahead of this summer’s World Cup but will not be available for the FA Cup having represented City earlier in the competition.
Despite struggling with a thigh injury, 24-year-old Holden will also sign on loan until the end of the season from Houston Dynamo. The midfield playmaker will have to await international clearance, but could figure against Burnley on Tuesday.
