KEVIN Davies’s opening goal in Sunday’s 3-1 victory at West Ham was Wanderers’ 400th in the Premier League.
The striker pounced on Robert Green’s howler to reach the landmark for his club.

1. SASA CURCIC: Chelsea 3 Wanderers 2 – November 21, 1995
The Yugoslav midfielder only scored seven times for Bolton, but his one at Stamford Bridge will live long in the memory.
In the 10th minute he picked up the ball just inside the Chelsea half, drifted past a couple of tackles, hurdled two more would-be tacklers and played a delightful one-two with Alan Thompson before rifling a shot confidently past Dmitri Kharine.
2. GUDNI BERGSSON: Wanderers 1 Barnsley 1 – December 26, 1997
Fans’ favourite Bergsson hit a Boxing Day blockbuster at the Reebok.
The Wanderers captain picked up possession on the right and, just a few yards into the Barnsley half, blasted a right-foot piledriver into the far corner.
3. JAY-JAY OKOCHA: Wanderers 1 West Ham 0 – April 19, 2003
Jay-Jay scored a brilliant solo effort in Wanderers’ crunch relegation clash with the Hammers. The Nigerian star’s superb 38th-minute goal was not only a piece a sublime individual skill but, more importantly, helped Sam Allardyce’s side maintain their top-flight status.
4. YOURI DJORKAEFF: Charlton 1 Wanderers 1 – April 18, 2003
Former Wanderer Mark Fish gave Charlton the lead but the French midfielder, with his back to goal, expertly cushioned Per Frandsen’s pass before flicking it up with his thigh and firing home a spectacular overhead kick.
5. KEVIN NOLAN: Wanderers 1 Blackburn 2 – January 13, 2008
The skipper had been the subject of the Bolton boo-boys but responded in magnificent fashion with a stunning volley. However, his efforts proved in vain as Rovers went on to grab a last-gasp winner courtesy of Jason Roberts.
