BOLTON School maintained their dominance of national schools water polo with the under-18s made it 13 consecutive English titles in a row across the three age groups.
The School has won every English Schools’ Swimming Association (ESSA) water polo title at u13s, u15s and u18s since 2013-14.
They clinched their latest success with a 5-2 victory over Trinity in the final at Northampton after beating Haberdashers’ Askes 7-2 in the first round, Trinity 4-2 in the quarter-final and KES Birmingham 8-0 in the semi-final.
Captain and junior international, Harrison Barker-Smith, was voted the tournament’s most valuable player and Matthew Schaffel goalkeeper of the tournament, while Thomas Yates was the top goalscorer and Jos Winstanley collected his seventh winner's medal.
