A QUARTET of Bolton School pupils hit the high notes at trials for the north of England lacrosse squad.
The foursome were on song, despite cold and wet conditions, at the try-outs and have been picked to play in a 'territorial tournament' next month.
Georgina Owen, aged 18, has been picked to captain the A squad and will be joined by fellow Bolton School Girls' Division Year 13 pupil Louisa Brophy.
Ellie Bridge, aged 14, of Year 9, and 15-year-old Maddie Kennedy, of Year 10, will join the B squad.
A spokesman for Bolton School said: "The final junior trials were a tough occasion for the players, who endured cold conditions and mainly continuous game play throughout the long day.
"This is an excellent achievement for all of the girls, who put in particular effort on the final day of trials to be selected."
