BOLTON schoolgirl Emily Manock scooped a silver medal at the Para-Swimming Championships at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.
After achieving national qualifying times in the 100-metre breaststroke, 100m backstroke, 100m freestyle and 50m freestyle, the 15-year-old clinched a silver medal in the 100m breaststroke SB8 class.
The Year 10 pupil at Bolton School Girls’ Division took part in the championships in December which were co-ordinated by the English Federation of Disability Sport, in partnership with British Para-Swimming.
