WANDERERS have confirmed the signing of Kevin McNaughton on a season-long loan move from Cardiff City.

The Scottish defender was a big hit with the Whites last season before being recalled to Premier League action by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and earning a new one-year deal.

But with a few options at right-back the Bluebirds boss decided to send him out on loan – which coincided with Blackburn Rovers’ offer to take Alex Baptiste last week.

The two deals were done but Wanderers have been waiting for international clearance to play McNaughton until now.

McNaughton will wear the number 15 shirt.
