FIREFIGHTERS were called after a bus engine caught fire in Bolton.
The First single decker bus was forced to stop in Bury Road at about 8am yesterday, near to the Hyundai dealership.
No-one was on board when crews from Bolton North station arrived, and the team spent about 30 minutes cooling the engine down.
Mechanics were then called to check the vehicle over.
